Popular tours of council facilities return during this year's Local Government Week

Free tours of Armidale Regional Council (ARC) facilities are once again being offered during this year’s Local Government Week celebrations held from the 31 July to 5 August 2023. An open day at the Companion Animal Shelter and a meet and greet morning tea and tour of the Armidale Civic Administration Building round out a busy week of activities for the community.

Alternative departure gate established at the Armidale Airport

An alternative departure gate (Gate 3) will be in operation from Saturday 1 July at the Armidale Regional Airport to cater for airlines that fall beneath the Federal Government’s 40 seat passenger threshold and do not require security screening.
