Armidale Regional Council’s Economic Development, Tourism & Marketing Department has the responsibility to implement the Council’s ten year (2011-2021) Economic Development and Tourism Strategies. These strategies are designed to drive future economic growth and diversification and to showcase our region.
Armidale Regional Council is keen to engage with developers, new business entrepreneurs, relocators and those wishing to establish a business in our local government area.
Digital Solutions for Business Workshops
To celebrate Small Business Month, Council is hosting two Digital Solutions for Business workshops in Armidale and Guyra on Monday 29 October and Tuesday 30 October. The workshops look at emerging trends in digital workflows and how to apply them to your business.
Armidale is one of the first communities in Australia to benefit from super fast, fibre optic broadband. This will provide the regional economy with numerous opportunities for business development and innovation. Many Armidale businesses are involved in thriving global ventures. If the ‘digital space is your space’ and you see benefit in fibre to your business we would welcome your interest and inquiries and encourage you to come here to live and work.
