Section 206 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021 (EPA Reg) requires Council as a Planning Authority, to keep a Planning Agreement (PA) Register on its website, which is available to the public.
- A Planning Agreement is a voluntary agreement or other arrangement between a planning authority and a developer, who has:
sought a change to an environmental planning instrument; or
- made or proposes to make a development application or application for a complying development certificate,
under which the developer is required to:
- dedicate land free of cost;
- pay a monetary contribution;
- provide any other material benefit; or
- provide any combination of the above,
to be used for or applied towards a public purpose
