Small things we do in our homes can make a big difference to the quality of the environment.
The choices we make collectively make an enormous difference. Are we boiling enough water for six cups of tea, when we only need two? Are we correctly using our kitchen caddy bins to dispose of compostable scraps?
Thinking about the resources we use, how we recycle and dispose of waste and how we look after the natural environment around us, helps us become more sustainable and saves us money too.
Change starts with us and it doesn’t have to be hard.
Here are some ideas for things we can do.
Free showerhead replacement
From Tuesday 11 June to the end of July, Guyra residents can swap their old showerhead for a new, high-quality replacement, under a free exchange program launched by Council to help households save water, energy and money.
