Bridge Maintenance Works - Panel - Closes 3pm Tuesday 15 October 2024

Armidale Council are seeking suitably experienced contractors to undertake maintenance and renewal works on Councils’ timber and concrete bridges for a period of three (3) years.

Experienced contractors are invited to tender for some or all works related to:

  • Routine Bridge Maintenance Servicing,
  • Specific Maintenance Work Packages involving 19 concrete bridges requiring various minor works such as cleaning, delineation maintenance, sediment removal under approach guardrail, deck joint resealing etc.
  • Specific Restoration Work Packages involving the replacement of bridge timbers and/or in-situ strengthening of 4 timber bridges.

It is anticipated further works will be released for quotation over the contract period as available funding permits.

Notice is hereby given that Armidale Regional Council, in pursuance of section 162 of the Roads Act, 1993 has officially named the roads as shown hereunder:

Location: These roads are all internal roads at the Armidale Airside Business Park, Armidale Airport
Name: Diamond View, Trestrail View, Rice View and Ford View

Name to officially take effect from 5 September 2024
