Armidale was an important railway centre in the past, located on what was the main line from Sydney to Brisbane. This museum commemorates the role and work of generations of local men and women who worked for the railways, which, indeed, carried "everything from a needle to an anchor."
Armidale Bicentennial Railway Museum is located on Brown Street, near Armidale Railway Station
