Shire President 1906 - 1907, 1938 - 1941
Victor L Green was born in 1865, the son of Timothy O’Sullivan Green , Victor trained to work on the land and was a good judge and great lover of horses. Early in his life he was a bank Manager in Queensland, but his strongest affection was for the land, owning the properties Bald Blair and Abbey green until 1907. Councilor Green was the first Shire president and Shire Presidents on two separate occasions and was a councillor from 1906 to 1941.
