Participate at Council Meeting

Community members can register to participate at a Council Meeting by submitting one of the forms below.  These requests must be submitted prior to 12 noon the day before the meeting.

Have Your Say: these must relate to an agenda item of the business paper and are limited to a maximum of two (2) speakers for and two (2) speakers against the agenda item. Each address is limited to five (5) minutes.

Deputations by Groups/Community Organisations: groups/community organisations have the opportunity to address the Council on a relevant topic, provided that their request to speak and the topic to be discussed is submitted by 12noon on the day before the meeting, and are limited to only one (1) deputation at the meeting, for a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes.

Public Forum: these can relate to any topic, however only six (6) speakers will be allowed at the meeting, each having three (3) minutes.
