Development Contributions
Council may require a developer to pay contributions towards the provision of public amenities and services as part of carrying out a development. There are two Contributions Plans: 

• Section 7.11 Contributions Plan – Heavy Vehicles: (PDF 285.5KB) contributions from development that generates heavy vehicle traffic contribute towards the cost of maintaining and reconstruction of roads affected by the development.  

• Section 7.12 Contributions Plan (PDF 3.1MB) contributions are levied and contribute towards roads and related infrastructure, pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, open space and recreation facilities, and civic and community facilities. The contribution rate is a levy based on a percentage of the proposed cost of carrying out the development.
