Grant assistance for representative athletes

Talented athletes from the Armidale region can receive financial assistance to contest high-profile events.

Competitors set to represent NSW or Australia between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020 are invited to apply for this year’s round of Armidale Regional Sports small grants.

Athletes representing Australia are eligible for a small grant of $500, while $250 grants are available for selected athletes competing for NSW.

The money can be spent on anything related to the competition, including travel, accommodation and registration fees.

Athletes must be aged between 10 and 35 and reside in the Armidale Regional Council area. Successful applicants can only receive one small grant per financial year.

For more information and application requests, contact Sports Coordinator Amy Biggs at sportscouncil@armidale.nsw.gov.au or on 6770 3869.
