$11 million Armidale Regional Airport upgrade takes flight
Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall visited Armidale Regional Airport today to announce that construction works have commenced on the upgrade of the airport terminal.
$13,000 support for Armidale Tree Group
Armidale Regional Council and the NSW Government has approved $13,061 for the Armidale Tree Group to develop its Education Centre for Biodiversity Conservation in Armidale.
$15,000 support for Armidale Montessori Preschool

The funeral of Don Tydd was held today at the Saints Mary and Joesph Cathedral Armidale. Don was a former General Manager of Dumaresq Shire Council and a prominent and well loved member of the Armidale community. Don had spent the last six months working closely with the Administrator Dr Ian Tiley on the new Armidale Regional Council. Dr Tiley's eulogy is provided.

Pools buzzing with school lessons
Students from many of the region’s schools are descending on Armidale’s Monckton Aquatic Centre and Guyra Swimming Pool for learn-to-swim and lifesaving lessons during November and December. Until 18 December, there will be some interruptions to lap swimming at Monckton Aquatic Centre and general admission to Guyra Swimming Pool.
