Kempsey to Armidale Road registration form

WARNING: Only inducted and authorised people can drive on the road with loads greater than 10 tonne gross vehicle mass (GVM) but less than 20 tonne GVM. This induction form is to ensure you are authorised by us to travel with the above load weight loading, under strict rules. Only medium rigids (12.5 metres long) or light vehicles and trailers will be allowed. Full disclosure in the fields below is required. Non-compliance could result in further damage to the road causing cracking and landslides – causing further road closures and setting back the progress of the road recovery works. Monitoring tools and surveillance will be in place to ensure compliance on access days.  

Once you hit submit, your feedback will be provided to the road recovery team. Updates about permission to access the road with loads greater than 10 tonne GVM but less than 20 tonne GVM will be provided in regular email (or SMS) updates to residents.

Do you understand that the gross vehicle mass (GVM) is limited to less than 20 tonne and that the GVM is the total weight of the vehicle, people, load and contents? (Please note: the vehicle GVM and number of trips is to be provided as part of your registration form.)* - required
Do you acknowledge that heavy vehicle movements can only be undertaken during the approved dates and times provided by Armidale Regional Council?
Do you have a UHF radio and know how to use it?
Do you agree to keep away from steep edges and drive on the high side of the road, close to the hillside?* - required
Do you agree to not stop or park next to steep slopes?* - required
Do you agree to keep your speed less than 40km/h? Please note that lower speeds may be necessary when the road is narrow or has lots of bends.* - required
Do you agree to not remove barriers or move flagging tape?* - required
Do you agree to follow road work signs and look out for road workers?* - required
Do you agree to only travel once you have been notified that approval is given?* - required
