Workshop to boost your brain

Workshop to boost your brain

Boost your brain power and ward off dementia using techniques to be taught at Armidale Library on Tuesday 9 October.

Dr Helena Popoovic will host the free Boost Your Brain and Defy Dementia workshop from 10.30am to noon.

“Most people work on building up and boosting their financial assets but how many work on developing their greatest asset, their brain?,” Dr Popovic said.

“The emerging field of neuroplasticity has shown brains can change their own structure and function. They can grow new cells, new circuits and new connections in response to what we do, what we think and how we behave.

“We play an active role in how our brains develop throughout our lives and the seminar offers practical steps to sharpen your thinking at any age, improve concentration, memory and mood, prevent dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, and tap into your brain’s full potential.”

Participation is free but bookings are essential by visiting https://byb-armidale.eventbrite.com.au
