Preliminary airport car park construction works

Armidale Regional Council is commencing preliminary construction work to improve airport parking infrastructure.

From Monday 14 August (weather permitting) Council crews will commence work at the temporary car park site adjacent to Saumarez Road and the Armidale Secure Car Park building to construct a 99 space sealed and line marked car park for use by airport users. Initially the site will be closed off with isolation tape leaving a section at the northern end open to allow existing vehicles to leave the site. Once empty the site will be closed.

Construction work is expected to take approximately six weeks (weather permitting).

Council thanks airport users in advance for their cooperation during this period whilst we improve parking at the airport.
