Have you considered being a Councillor?

Armidale Regional Council will be holding its first election on Saturday 9 September 2017.

Our community needs capable people with passion and commitment to nominate as candidates in these upcoming local council elections and to provide civic leadership for the next three years.

Energy and a ‘can do’ desire to get things done and make a difference will be important qualities for councillors who need to be inclusive, approachable and willing to work across communities to create a prosperous future for the Armidale Regional Council area.

Nominations for candidates open on Monday 31 July and close at 12 noon on Wednesday 9 August 2017.

Before deciding whether to nominate, make sure you are on the electoral roll for Armidale Regional Council area and are eligible to stand for office.
