Armidale Regional Council was one of eight regional councils to receive funding from Create NSW to host a Live and Local event during 2017/2018. This is part of a NSW Government initiative to take micro music festivals to regional areas.
CBD retailers, hotels, empty spaces and outdoor stages will be transformed as funky music venues to host local musicians and provide free family entertainment on
Saturday 14 April from 4pm to 8pm.
Local musicians will play concurrently and be located at venues within walking distance allowing audience members to stroll around the CBD and participate in a number of activities. The event will offer a variety of musical genres and will culminate in a performance of local musicians, playing original music on locally crafted instruments.
