Armidale Regional Council will commence reconstruction work on Kellys Plains Road between Platform road and 800m north from 28 August 2017.
The project, being undertaken by Council, is expected to commence on Monday 28 August 2017 with work being carried out between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
During the project the road will be closed to facilitate construction and improve safety. Detours will be in place to use Burns Road for access to Platform road. Alternatively drivers can utilise Old Gostwyck road via Post Way to travel to-and-from town.

Kelly’s Plains road is now open
- Stabilising of the existing pavement and shoulder widening has been completed
- Table drain construction is completed
- New pavement material has been placed
- Sealing is completed
- Line marking will begin 7 November
